WILL MY JEWELLERY TARNISH? 

To look after your permanent jewellery best we advise that you keep skin products and perfumes away from the chains.  You can swim in your jewellery but make sure you rinse them through with clean water afterwards.  You may also want to run a polishing cloth over them every now and again to keep them clean and bright. 

WILL MY JEWELLERY STAY ON? 

During the fitting process our fitter will have double checked that the weld is solid, our chains are durable but are not indestructible so if you do snag your chain please keep it safe and we will reweld it for you free of charge with your original receipt.  Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds, replacements or discounts for lost or snagged chains. 

WHAT IS GOLD FILLED CHAIN? 

Gold filled is like gold plated but with gold filled jewellery the plating is 10 times thicker, it is therefore a fabulous metal to choose for permanent jewellery as it looks as luxurious as solid gold, but is highly durable and will remain tarnish free. 

WILL THE WELDED BRACELET SET OFF ALARMS IN AIRPORTS? 

Our chains are very delicate and do not set off security alarms. 

IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION FOR WELDED JEWELLERY? 

The minimum age is 8, and anyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult. 

DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APOINTMENT? 

Yes; we always recommend booking in advance for an appointment in our Chester store! However; feel free to pop but into store on the off chance we can fit you in and no appointments are necessary for pop up locations.

CAN I REMOVE MY PERMANENT JEWELLERY? 

Yes; if you need to remove your jewellery use a sharp pair of scissors to snip it at jump ring and keep it safe; and we will re-weld it for you free of charge with the original receipt.  

WILL THE WELDED JEWELLERY NEED TO BE REMOVED FOR A MRI SCAN? 

On the occasion that a medical professional does ask you to remove your welded bracelet for an MRI scan, you can simply cut the chain at the jump ring and bring this back in to OPHEARA and we will re-weld it for you. 

CAN I RETURN MY PERMANENT JEWELLERY? 

As this is a personalised, custom fit piece of jewellery, we do not offer refunds on these products. If you have any queries or concerns please email our customer care team at info@opheara.com  

DO YOU OFFER WELDED ANKLETS? 

Yes! We offer anklets, bracelets, necklaces, body chains and rings. We have a variety of charms and connectors to add to your jewellery that begin at £15. 

IS WELDED JEWELLERY SAFE? 

Yes, our welding machines are operated by trained professionals who have experience in fitting and welding jewellery.
